Professional Journey
Eric’s journey in the military began in 2002 when he joined the Air National Guard in response to the 9/11 attack on the United States. Throughout his service, he demonstrated his technical expertise in the intelligence space providing critical support to intelligence gathering on board the E-8C, Joint Target Attack Radar Systems (JSTARS) aircraft.
His career expanded to encompass diverse roles and experiences across the Department of Defense (DoD). From strategic planning for the Department of the Air Force to supply chain management for Special Operations Forces, Eric’s dedication to excellence has been unwavering. Notably, he contributed to aircraft mission readiness for B-1 Bombers, F-15 Strike Eagles, and reconnaissance aircraft. His journey eventually led him to focus on labor and employee relations, where he excelled in negotiating policies and fostering collaboration with international governments.
Educational Background
Eric’s thirst for knowledge and desire to understand the complexities of global affairs led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and International Relations from Mercer University. Continuing his pursuit of academic excellence, he earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Organizational Management from American Military University.
Passion Beyond Borders
Beyond his military service and academic accomplishments, Eric has also engaged in advocacy work. During an interlude between his undergraduate and graduate studies, he worked for an NGO in Kenya, Africa. There, he passionately lobbied government officials for the protection of indigenous tribes from South Sudanese encroachment and advocated for stricter small arms policy.
In 2020, Eric was honored with a prestigious Air Force Fellowship, where he honed his skills in disciplines such as joint warfare, cybersecurity doctrine, and space doctrine at Air University.
